About
Raised on the Plains. Rooted in the Black Hills.
I grew up on the wide-open plains of Nebraska, where you can see a thunderstorm coming from miles away, and traded them for the Black Hills. I'm a software engineer in Rapid City, and I own and run PROJEX. I studied Computer Science at the South Dakota School of Mines and Technology, and I've been building for the web and connected systems for over 26 years, 19 of them professionally.
Out of college I joined e-Venture, Inc. in Rapid City, building public websites and intranets for almost two years. Then a fellow programmer and I started our own company, Caffeine 2 Code, and spent six years growing it.
At the start of 2015, Caffeine 2 Code merged with Satty.co to form PROJEX. 11 years later we're still making logos, designs, websites and apps, now with the IT, systems integrations and AI behind them.
I love what I do, so “work” really isn't work.
